The "Lion of Tannheim" is a children picture book, inspired by the true stories of children and their families at the Tannheim Children Rehabilitation Hospital. On a quest to find his uncle, the lion of Tannheim embarks on many adventures, portraying the stories of chronically and terminally ill children and their families. Accompanied by his suitcase, our hero-lion experiences the courage, strength, and above all, the everlasting hope of the children of Tannheim.

Founded by the late Klaus Jürgen Wusow, the "Lion of Tannheim" foundation answers the call for aid of financially burdened families of chronically and terminally ill children. Collected by Silke Ramelow, the proceeds from the "Lion of Tannheim" are dedicated to these families.
